New Tax Statute

Luckily, Texas has followed the footsteps of Nevada (but not too soon) when Gov Perry signed a franchise bill amending the tax code of Texas. Businesses that pay franchise tax would pay lower rates and receive compensation. So how do we actually know how much we are going to 'pay' (the word sucks) in the new Texas statute? A franchise tax calculator in PDF format can interactively be used to input data and do the math for us. It can be downloaded from the WOS Texas Taxes website.
